Relief Society Lesson
I taught my first Relief Society lesson today in our Canyon Estates ward! Many jitters this morning, but all went well.
So grateful for the Lord giving me the privilege of being a vessel to share his love with the wonderful sisters in our ward! Here are the handouts from today.

Answered prayers
Coming across this quote was 100% an answer to my prayers. After finding about something I messed up at work, it was so hard not to dwell and feel like a failure. Grateful for our Prophets past and present that can make lifes big trials easier to digest!

Good to be Green!
A good day to be green!
Green fundamentally represents nature, vitality, and growth.
It evokes tranquility, balance, and harmony.
So grateful for wonderful sisters in Christ like this dear friend of mine Heidi Alsup!
So grateful for her example to me of tranquility, balance, harmony, growth and vitality in the gospel of Jesus Christ!
It is also fun when we happen to wear our green dresses together on the same day! 💕

Temple Worker Anniversary
I can probably only count on one hand significant choices I have made in my 42 years, that have completely changed the trajectory of my mortal existence.
Choosing to be a temple worker at the Church of Jesus Christ Bountiful Temple has been one of those decisions.
5 years ago today, I was set apart to serve there every Saturday from 1:15-6pm. And my life has never been the same since.
The knowledge of our Heavenly Fathers plan of Happiness, the comfort, the peace, and the joy of serving there outweighs any worldly sacrifice required to be there.
One of my most favorite blessings of serving there is being able to feel God’s love for not only myself but for those that I serve and for those I meet in everyday life! It is a joy unlike any other!
Being a temple worker and having the opportunity to perform sacred priesthood ordinances on behalf of those who are ready to advance in the next life and come closer to our Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father is such a sacred privilege.
From the book titled Doctrine and Covenants section 109 in the dedicatory prayer of the Kirtland Temple it reads:
22 And we ask thee, Holy Father, that thy servants may go forth from this house armed with thy power, and that thy name may be upon them, and thy glory be round about them, and thine angels have charge over them;
I know this to be true! I have felt so much strength to overcome my everyday trials every time I serve in this beautiful holy house.
I pray more will feel the pull of the temple and realize the sacrifices to be there are such an insignificant requirement compared to the blessings that will pour out upon your life!
If you are curious what is required to attain a temple recommend once you become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints through baptism, these are the questions asked by your Bishopric to help determine your worthiness to enter the House of the Lord.

A walk down memory lane...
Stumbled across these pioneer trek gems from around 1998. Enjoy!
The turkey had been named Supper. I’m not going to lie, I got a little too attached to Supper before we had to eat him. 😢
I do remember sneaking contraband deodorant in that week. But now laughing that even on trek I wore my signature rings 😂.

Spirit Filled Sabbath
💕 Happy Sabbath! I feel spoiled rotten today! Was blessed to attend the farewells of our former neighbors, the Sharps, as they prepare to head out for 18 months on their mission to Anaheim, California! Received so many wonderful hugs and hellos from dear friends from our old ward that always feels like home, even if the name has changed. 😉 Was blessed to listen to a wonderful fireside about our Savior Jesus Christ this evening! And have spent the last hours of the day rereading this wonderful book! If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it! If you read it long ago, I also recommend rereading it! Love you all! I hope your Sabbaths were as Spirit Filled and full of love like mine was! Thank you to so many this weekend for your hugs, smiles, and sincere heartfelt love!

Power of Fasting and Prayer
We have had the driest winter since 1977! And while it has been so nice not to shovel, it has also created a scary shortage of water. After much fasting and prayer in the state, we recieved some much needed snow and have continued to receive rain here and then since. So grateful for answered prayers!

Gratitude for you!
My cup runneth over!🤗🥰🤗
I am just feeling so grateful today for the blessing of meeting, knowing, interacting with, serving with, and just simply loving the friendships of women in my life. As I looked around the relief society room today, I felt so much love for my fellow sisters in Christ as if they were my own sisters.
I thought about how if I had never moved to this house, I would have never met them and how sad that would have been.
Each person I have interacted with over the years in the three wonderful wards we have lived in WX 9th, Sterling Heights, and now Canyon Estates, has been a blessing in my life and I am grateful for those friendships that continue to stand the test of time.
I have long given up in the belief of coincidences.
I know through personal experience that our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ do not make mistakes. They lead us to where we need to be even when, and sometimes especially when, we can’t see the way.
To the women in my life who I have met through church, serving in the temple, neighborhoods, work, and just along the way. I love you and I cherish the blessing of calling you my friend!

Sunday Thoughts
I hope everyone is having a peaceful, restful, and Spirit filled Sabbath!
I always love hearing this quote by President Ezra Taft Benson:
“Yes, men and women who turn their lives over to God will find out that he can make a lot more out of their lives than they can.
He will deepen their joys, expand their vision, quicken their minds, strengthen their muscles, lift their spirits, multiply their blessings, increase their opportunities, comfort their souls, raise up friends, and pour out peace.
Whoever will lose his life to God will find he has eternal life.” 💕
