John 6

I was so touched by our bishops sharing the words from the Book of John today during his testimony today.

At this time many of the disciples left Jesus and no longer followed him. Then he turned to the 12 and asked if they would also leave. Then Simon Peter responded, where would we go when we know thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God and thou hast the words of eternal life.

When I put myself in the same scenario would I be one of the disciples that leaves or would I be one that continues to follow Christ? There are times in my life where I have been both, which is probably what has given me a greater appreciation to now be like one of the twelve on my current path.

I also know that Christ is the Son of the Living God and that his words and commandments and covenants are the pathway to eternal life. I am so grateful for my testimony, my most prized possession and for this knowledge and for scriptures!

John 6
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

Jesus is a God of Miracles!

So Beautiful!!! Our primary is learning this song this year! I remember learning it a very long time ago when I served in primary in our old ward!

March Update

How I feel every Saturday after spending the afternoon with my fellow temple workers! 💕💕

Like I said in my January catchup post, it has not been for lack of Spiritual experiences, or insights that I haven't updated this journal. Life has just been busy especially as I have tried to heal from pneumonia, and haven't really gotten all of my energy back.

My update is that I am still the initiatory coordinator and just received a new assistant to work with and she is doing fabulous! I am still grateful to my former assistant who was so wonderful as well and I enjoyed getting to know her and spend time with her each Saturday for 2 months.

I also had the privilege last Tuesday to sub for my sweet friend CC and had the chance to perform the ordinances for the first time in a long time. I felt such a sweet spirit and the words really spoke to my heart unlike they had before. I also spent time in the Celestial room and at the recommend desk. I did get to see Henry briefly in the Celestial room on his shift which was nice.

On a completely unrelated note, I have started studying American Sign Language as a student taking online classes. Many years ago I wanted to be an interpreter. Who knows where this path will take me, but it is something I have always had an interest in. So I have been spending alot of time on that as well.
