I Love the Book of Mormon

I have received my own personal spiritual witness more times than I can count that the words contained in the Book of Mormon are true through the power of the Holy Ghost. I am so grateful for those experiences. I can’t imagine my life without them or without this sacred book. My journey to understanding our Savior has been paved through my study of this book and that of the New Testament. If you have never read it, what do you have to lose? Just start at the beginning, you may learn something you never knew was possible. 

Moroni 10:4-5

4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.

5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

Missionary Farewell

 Love this!! A missionary that is leaving for his mission soon, shared in sacrament meeting today overcoming a drug addiction at age 12 and how much Heavenly Father has been answering his prayers over the years. 

So many assume people at church ( especially our church), are full of “people who think they are perfect”, judgemental people. I can promise you, that is not the case. 

We are all being tested and battle so many of the same weaknesses and addictions that plague this world today. 

And personally, I have been through my own refiners fire in this life after many trials and overcoming sins just like everyone else. 

The blessing of going to church and partaking of the sacrament is to be able to be made clean again from those sins. To get right with our Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ who sacrificed and died for those sins. And to once again find peace in our souls after the blessing of repentance that can only be found through the power of our Savior. 

I was so moved by this Missionairies life experience today and know he has been prepared in a special way to be able to find those who have walked or are walking a similar path and he will be able to help them in ways no one else can.
